Postage costs
We offer customers a flat rate of $7.70 postage and handling via regular mail with Australia Post. However, if customers wish to have their mail sent by registered post a $10.00 postage and handling fee will apply. It is highly recommended to register parcels costing $50.00 or over. This option includes insurance up to $100.00. If you need insurance for items costing over $100.00 please contact us.
Delivery
All purchases are usually packed and posted within 24 hours of checkout/confirmation of payment, however delays can occur due to varying circumstances. Please allow up to 6 working days for delivery in Australia.
We are happy to refund or replace any item purchased if the buyer is unsatisfied with the product, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving the parcel for our returns address. All returned items must be in original packaging, undamaged, and returned within 14 days of purchase.
We will not refund or replace items damaged once they are in the hands of Australia Post, parcels are the responsibility of the purchaser from the time they have been posted.
Smart Toys parcels are sent from country Victoria and, depending on the parcels destination, delivery can take between 1 - 6 working days (please note that this information was copied from the Aus Post web-site)
Descriptions of products
Smart Toys staff endeavour to supply our customers and potential customers with accurate images and descriptions of our toys, however, we are only human and mistakes can happen. If the product you purchased does not comply with the description or image in any way we will refund or replace the product with sincere apologies.
We provide a basic description, usually provided by the manufacturer, if you have further queries about a product or are unsure of suitability for a childs age group please contact us. We also suggest you research the product through other avenues, as you would for any special purchase, for your own peace of mind.
Safety
It is your responsibility to check toys for the recommended age group and if adult supervision is required. Even if you have ordered a toy from a specific age group it is required that you check the intended recommended age range on the packaging. If you have ordered a toy from Smart Toys to post on to a child please also notify the childs carer to do the same.
Personal information
Any personal information provided by you is only used for repeat purchases or to send any new information about our online store. We do not pass on any of this information to any other individual or business. We may use your email address to send our email newsletters and other announcements regarding promotions, new products and special features.
